Hi all. I have had the same problem on my Audi A6 2LTR. C7 2015 diesel. My local garage pushed the serpentine belt tensioner back a little and the noise stopped so they fitted a new tensioner. All good and quiet. However they did not replace the belt as there was only 50000 miles on the clock.
Same thing is happening to my 2015 Audi A6 its carbon build up in the intake but Audi warranty doesn't cover it. They cost for Audi dealership to clean the carbon buildup is $1,600.00. 12-16-2018 10:10 AM #15

He said it was like it when he bought the car 5 - 6 years ago and 40k miles. Basically his advice to me was ignore it, get used to it and just drive the car normally!
